Turning compassion into action on Toronto's streets

Toronto Food For All Foundation is a student-led initiative that turns your donations into food, hygiene kits, and essentials — then personally distributes them to people experiencing homelessness across Toronto.

How It Works

Three simple steps from your donation to direct impact.

💛

1. You Donate

Every dollar you give goes directly to purchasing supplies. No overhead, no salaries — we're 100% volunteer-run.

🛒

2. We Purchase Supplies

We buy food, water, hygiene kits, socks, blankets, and seasonal essentials — whatever is most needed on the streets right now.

🤝

3. We Distribute Across Toronto

Our volunteers walk through Toronto neighbourhoods — from Moss Park to North York — personally handing out supplies to those who need them.

Why This Matters

On any given night, over 10,000 people in Toronto experience homelessness. More than 7,000 sleep in shelters, while thousands more sleep outside — in parks, on sidewalks, in doorways.

The need is urgent and ongoing. While systemic solutions take time, people are hungry right now. Toronto Food For All Foundation bridges the gap — getting food, warm clothing, and essentials directly into the hands of those who need them today.

We focus on neighbourhoods with the highest need: downtown east side, Moss Park, Parkdale, Scarborough, and North York. Every distribution run is an act of dignity and care.

Toronto by the Numbers

  • 10,000+ people experiencing homelessness on any given night
  • 7,000+ in the shelter system — often at capacity
  • 3,000+ sleeping rough on the streets
  • 140+ neighbourhoods across the GTA affected
